Tell us all about you! What do you do? How do you spend your free time? What's important in life?
We both love going out for food, having drinks with friends and going on holiday together. But we spend most of our free time on the sofa with Cookie 🐶
Why did you decide to capture your wedding on video?
Video captures moments that photos don’t always pick up on such as mannerisms and voices, and we want to remember these special moments and be able to watch them back in years to come.
Why did you choose Amber Tree Filmhouse to film your wedding?
I love how your videos tell a story and capture the most important parts of the day… they do a really good job of capturing the ‘feeling’ of the day
Tell me all about the proposal! Spare no detail, I want to hear it all!
We were on holiday in Las Vegas and had planned to go back to a really nice restaurant that we had been to the previous time we were there.. it was going to be our ‘big night out’ so I made sure to get dressed for the occasion. Andrew had said he randomly found a rooftop bar nearby that he was able to book online last minute (he had it booked for about 6 months haha). So we went to the bar and ordered drinks at the table. When the drinks arrived Andrew asked the waitress to take a photograph of us both in front of the window that looked out over the Las Vegas strip (despite my objections as I hadn’t even had one drink yet). When we stood up to take the photograph, Andrew asked for another photo..and another..and another..at which point I started to feel awkward and when I turned to tell him that was enough photos he was down on the floor on one knee asking me to marry him (to which I became very lost for words and needed to be prompted to answer 🤣). After this, we were both on cloud 9 and continued to party in Vegas the rest of the night!
Why did you choose Galgorm Resort as your venue? What made it special to you?
We wanted a really luxurious venue but couldn’t really decide on what we wanted, but as soon as we walked into the Renaissance suite in the Galgorm we didn’t even have to say the words we both just knew it was our venue.
