Tell us all about you! What do you do? How do you spend your free time? What's important in life?
Leena is a Relationship Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support and Jason is a Security and CCTV Duty Manager. We enjoy travelling, good food, cocktails, spending time with family and friends and watching movies and tv shows. We absolutely love theatre and the arts. The most important in life is having support from your loved ones when you need it most.
Why did you decide to capture your Merchant Hotel wedding on video?
For our future kids when they ask about our wedding as well as for our loved ones who may not be around for much longer.

We loved your style of videography and Sam's personality sold it to us!

Jason skipped work and went out for the day. Told me to be ready for 5pm on 13th November 2020. He had arranged a car to pick us up and take us to the place in Kingston where we had our first date along the River Thames. As we arrived, there were fireworks in the background (not planned but coincidental) and we walked to the bench where we had our first kiss, Jason brought out some plastic cups and prosecco (just as we did on our first date) and gave me a box of chocolates and flowers before asking me to marry him. I said 'of course' and then cried!
Why did you choose the Merchant Hotel as your venue? What made it special to you?
We always wanted to get married abroad but with the pandemic, we thought it might be a bit risky so my Mum suggested we get married in Belfast where Leena was born. The Merchant Hotel is a stunning venue and Leena went here to celebrate her 21st Birthday for an afternoon tea. We made the call to the Merchant Hotel not expecting the date we wanted to be free, and when it was we knew it was a sign! It was meant to be!
